Cihangir İnşaat started the construction of the special TOKİ project of Safranbolu, one of the most significant attraction centers in the country thanks to its lifestyle and traditions, the architecture that harmonized with regional natural conditions.

In the beautiful district of Safranbolu, suitable for development as a valley, houses on slopes do not get in each other’s sight. Houses, streets and garden walls complement each other. Garden walls integrating with ground floors are just like the continuation of the street. Projections of the upper floors and wide fringes constitutes the historical and well-known texture of Safranbolu. The project including construction of a mosque, a trade center and 579 houses have also been handled meticulously and in complete harmony with the texture of the Safranbolu houses.

It is planned that the project is completed within the first half of 2018 and give a brand new impulse to the life in Safranbolu.

Having undertaken the construction of 454 dwellings within the first phase of the large urban transformation project initiated in the district of Mamak, Ankara, Cihangir İnşaat keeps working on the project.

A sod-turning ceremony was held in October 9th, 2015 for the project with a completion of over 60 percent. The sod-turning ceremony of “Altıağaç-Karaağaç-Hüseyingazi Urban Transformation Project” realized in cooperation with Mamak Municipality and TOKİ has demonstrated the significance of the project with the participation of Vice Prime Minister Yalçın Akdoğan, Minister of Environment and Urbanization İdris Güllüce, TOKİ President M. Ergün Turan and Mayor of Mamak, Mesut Akgül.

Completed the 454 of the 870 dwellings within the scope of “Altıağaç-Karaağaç-Hüseyingazi Urban Transformation Project”, Cihangir İnşaat management made an appearance in the sod-turning ceremony participated by the high-ranking statesmen.

TOKİ President M. Ergün Turan gave a speech at the sod-turning ceremony and shared the following information regarding the project: Size of the area is 574.000 square meters. 230 out of 350 slums located in the area were demolished in mutual agreement. Number of dwellings to be constructed in this area is 5.420 in total. 21 percent of the project was reserved for dwellings, 57 percent was reserved for green space and 22 percent was reserved for the roads and social equipment. I would like to draw your attention; 57 percent of the area will be used for green spaces.

The first “Non-disabled Vocational High School” of the world has gone into service in cooperation with Serçev and MEB (The Ministry of National Education). With this important project, it is aimed that children with cerebral palsy that passed the age of secondary school or holding a secondary school diploma continue their education within the existing system and participate in professional life. Physical features of this meaningful project whose construction were undertaken by Cihangir İnşaat has also been completed in accordance with these students. Unique, as a first in the world, the school contains a harmonization section, a business school section, an occupational section and a learning-by-experience and training center.

Vice Prime Minister Tuğrul Türkeş, AK Parti (Justice and Development Party), Ankara Representative Tülay Selamoğlu, AK Parti Elazığ Representative Serpil Bulut, District Director of Education Erol Bozkurt, Serçev Chief Executive Officer Sinem Ersoy and more importantly, as the actual architects of this project, many disabled children participated in the sod-turning ceremony held in February, 2015 for the school constructed in Çayyolu, Ankara.

In the school rising over four blocks, nearly 400 non-disabled children and 200 children with cerebral palsy has found an opportunity to be educated together.

İTÜ Student Affairs Deanery and Automation Center Building constructed in Maslak Compound of Istanbul Technical University has been constructed over metro station building as a reinforced concrete and steel structure by Cihangir İnşaat. Along with the construction within the scope of the project with a total construction area of 3200 square meters, system infrastructures and all electrical and mechanical manufacturing has also been performed by the experienced staff of Cihangir İnşaat.

Construction project of the educational blocks in Tuzla Maritime Faculty of Istanbul Technical University that was undertaken by Cihangir İnşaat has been completed.

Participated by the Rector of Istanbul Technical University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, Dean of Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Sinan Mert Şener and many professors and Cihangir İnşaat management, sod-turning ceremony was held on the date of Cabotage Day which has a great significance for Maritime.

Sales of the Cihangir Otağtepe Project located in the region of Kavacık Otağtepe, where the sea merges with the land and constructed by Cihangir İnşaat has been completed quickly. With the recent settlements, life began within the project with a flat variety consisting of 2+1, 3+1 and 5+1 type of dwellings.

Constructed by Cihangir İnşaat in the smart building concept, new building of Regional Directorate of Istanbul of Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications with high-end automation and security features has come into service.

Furthermore, by means of the integrated system in which all data received from all roadside control stations affiliated to the regional directorate, road control will be performed electronically from a single center.

The new system has been planned to be usable as a part of the e-devlet (e-state) project.

Minister and undersecretary offices were also given place in the new building constructed by Cihangir İnşaat and where all units affiliated to the regional directorate will serve.

Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication of the time, Binali Yıldırım and accompanying delegation visited the project during the construction and obtained information from Chief Executive Office of Cihangir İnşaat, Ömer YÜCEL.
